istock_000003129409xsmall1For most people it is pretty easy to talk.  That doesn’t mean that it is easy to communicate.  To say the right thing to the right person at the right time takes more than just saying what is on your mind.  If you want to take it even farther to truly communicate well it requires the ability to listen and adapt information to be more clearly understood.  A great challenge for us as a church is to clearly communicate with the community and the congregation what God is doing in and among us.  To this end we have put together a communication team to help get the word out with regards to the mission of our church as well as all of the awesome things that are going on.  This team will also be listening to make sure that the message is being heard by the appropriate audience.  Currently we have a website, two monthly newsletters, blogs, bulletins and announcements to get the word out.  We are excited about a new opportunity to install two digital signs in our common areas to share information in an eye catching and relevant way.  If you have any ideas on how we may communicate more effectively post a comment here.
