  1. If the apostle Paul were to offer praise to God over our church, for what specifically would he offer thanksgiving? Would it be the same or different than the prayer offered in Ephesians 1:15-16?
  2. What do you think of when you hear the word “power”? What about when you hear “God’s power”?  When and how have you experienced God’s power in your life? In the church? Have you ever been disappointed when you sought God’s power in your life?  Who are some people who need to find God’s hope and power in their lives this week?  How can you help them experience God’s power?
  3. In Ephesians 1:18b, Paul prays that we might “know the hope of His calling.” Us the following verses to further explore what that hope is:  1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 John 3:1-3; Ephesians 2:12; and 1 Peter 1:3.
  4. What does living  as the “fullness of Him who fills everything in every way” (Ephesians 1:23) look like in your daily life and how is it possible?
