Life

LifeThe Declaration of Independence states that life is one of our inalienable rights given to us by our Creator. Without it, nothing else matters. The book of Genesis begins with it. For years there has been debate about when it begins. While life is often thought of in physical terms, spiritual life encompasses both our temporal existence and eternal destiny. The most important decision we can make regards spiritual life or death. Christ proclaimed that He came that we might have life. In one of the earliest books of the Bible, Moses spoke clearly of the offer of Life or Death. To follow Christ is to love God, walk in His ways, and keep His commands, decrees and laws. As we do that, God will bless us. The alternative is to turn our hearts away and live in disobedience. This ultimately ends in death and destruction. As individuals and as a church, we are committed to the pursuit of life and sharing the good news along the way.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10
