Camera Crew

Join the camera crew. Currently we video tape Pastor Greg on Sunday morning in order to place the sermons on our website the following week. Most individuals can be trained to video tape for the service.

Commitment – 1-4 x month, either first or second service

Website Development

Every week we are looking for new content to put on the website to promote what God is doing at First B and help everyone stay in touch. If you like writing or digital editing this would be a great way to get involved.

Commitment – flexible, as needed work

Lighting Control

The lighting of the sanctuary does a lot to help set the mood of the service. If you would be interested in helping out with lighting control let us know.

Commitment – 1 – 4x a month, both services

Sound Crew

This is a trained crew that serves on a rotation. If you have past experience we could get you involved quickly. If you have an interest and a desire to learn we would be happy to train you to be a part of the sound team.

Commitment – 1-2x a month, both services

Worship Team

This is for musicians and vocalists to be a part of leading Sunday morning worship.

Commitment – varies

Usher and Greeter Team

One of the most important things to our guests is a smile and someone to show them around. If you are happy to be at church on Sunday morning and you want to share that excitement with others let us know.

Commitment – weekly, first or second service

Mower Team

Needed: One additional good man for our 6 man riding mower team that mows the church lawn.  Each week a two man team mows the lawn, taking about 2 1/2 hours, This means you would mow every third week during the mowing season.  Prefer a person with riding mower experience that is available Fridays and/or Saturdays.  Contact Don Nish @ 224-238-8955

Children’s Ministry

Check-In desk

Keeping our kids safe and secure on Sunday morning is a top priority. This is accomplished through a streamlined check-in with secure ID’s. If you would like to help check kids off when they arrive we are looking to grow our team.

Commitment – 1-4x a month first or second service

Nursery

Do you enjoy working with babies and toddlers? If you have noticed we have been busting at the seams. Come spend a morning down in the nursery and be energized every week.

Youth Ministry

Sr. High Sunday Night Youth Services
