American Baptist Missionaries to Costa Rica
The Baits work with the Costa Rican Baptist Convention in pastoral and lay leadership training and theological education. Recruiting, training, and encouraging leaders for Mylinda and Gary involves teaching courses at the Centro Teologico Bautista Metropolitano in the San Jose area and making courses available at several local churches. Gary enjoys teaching preaching classes and encourages his students to take seriously the call to study Scripture and creatively communicate its transforming message. Mylinda has been able to use her artistic gifts and pastoral training to encourage worship that is biblical, meaningful, creative, and thoroughly Latin American.

About:
Dustin and Natalie provide pastoral care and encouragement for pastors, missionaries, and their families living in the remote villages of Alaska. Dustin spends much of his time coordinating volunteer teams who go into villages to remodel and repair homes and equipment for these pastors and missionaries. Along with Natalie’s primary ministry caring for Skylar and Kaia, Natalie works with activities and events to encourage the women in the Bush. Dustin and Natalie also fill in for pastors who need time away, by preaching and caring for their homes and their families. Dustin is one of FBC’s “homegrown,” having spent his growing-up years at First Baptist.
