WHO IS ALPHA FOR?

Alpha is for anyone. People join from all backgrounds, religions, and viewpoints. Come to investigate questions about the existence of God, the purpose of life, the afterlife, the claims of Jesus. Some join because they want to move beyond religion and find a relationship with God. Others come for the long-lasting friendships built during an Alpha course. Many people have never been to church, others may have attended church occasionally but feel they’ve never understood the basics of Christian faith or simply long to articulate why they believe what they believe. Others are new to following Jesus, looking to establish a firm foundation for growth. Everyone is welcome.

ALPHA @ FBC

We are very excited to offer the Alpha Course to our church family and community. The Alpha Course runs for 10 consecutive weeks, and all meetings are held at First Baptist Church. Meetings include a meal, group conversation, and a short video teaching that highlights different aspects of Christian faith. The teaching will be followed by a discussion in a small group setting where everyone is welcome to dialogue and ask questions. The talks are designed to encourage, debate, and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, honest, and informal environment.
