Greg Huguley

Senior Pastor

Greg grew up in the deep south (Atlanta) before coming to Elgin and First Baptist Church in 2007. He married the best girl in Kentucky, his beautiful (and balanced) wife Rebecca, they have one son, Samuel, in whom he is well pleased, and he tolerates their barks-a-lot dog, Oreo.  Greg is passionate about helping people move toward God's agenda for their lives, and thrilled to pastor the First B family. He loves reading, music, sports and the weather in Illinois (really--he loves snow, especially at Christmas!)

Jason Poland

Executive Pastor

Jason is a life-long resident of the Chicago Suburbs. It is where he was born and raised, met the wife of his youth, Lisa, and started a family. Having grown up with 4 brothers he has adjusted well to an all-female household raising two girls, Olivia and Ashley. Early in his studies he found his passion with counseling, helping others experience the abundant life that Christ offers. If he is not at church you will often find him near a court, as the number one fan at one of his girls’ activities.
